An introduction to our amazing new group!

The freshly created Edinburgh All-Comers Writers Club meets every week at 7pm, in the back room of Jeremiah's Taproom, 7 Elm Row, Edinburgh.

This democratically-organized, convivial and non-phobic group will meet every week for the purpose of encouraging creative writers and poets of all abilities, including beginners and accomplished authors. Participants are welcome to bring along a short sample of whatever they're working on to read to the group, preferably with at least eight copies to circulate to other members. All types of creative work are accepted. Each reading will be followed by a constructive discussion and general writing-related banter.

Don't worry - you don't have to read anything out if you don't want to. Just come along and join us for what will surely be the most intellectually-stimulating and enjoyable thing you will do that evening!

The name of the group, venue, time and format of meetings may change depending on new member's opinions. We want to hear from YOU!

This site - and group - is very much a work in progress. If you have any ideas, questions, suggestions or comments, just post them below and we'll get back to you!

There's also a Facebook group for the club if anyone wants to join.

That's all for now. We look forward to seeing you all there if you can make it!
